@Vitaliy_Kisilev - I haven't tried generating optimized footage in Resolve for that footage yet, but I suspect that would also let me work with it without too much of a headache (though probably with really long export times). It also just cements that I'll probably be bringing the A7r III as my travel camera most of the time if I'm planning to edit on the go. :)
Just use 8bit modes on Panasonic.
At that point, I might as well just use the Sony and have better autofocus and low light, plus higher-resolution stills (at the cost of bigger/heavier lenses). :)
NVidia has released a creator ready driver that works on GeForce cards that they claim will give some professional programs such as Premiere Pro CC a performance boast but unfortunately, this will not add 10 bit support for many of those programs because they use OpenGL. They still want you to buy a Quadro for that.

Download the driver here. Choose "Creator Ready Driver". https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Intel will be releasing new graphics cards and I'm hoping they'll at least be one model that allows for 10 bit output on these programs and cost a bit less than a Quadro card. If those cards sell well, perhaps that might cause NVidia to rethink their business strategy.
