It's not perfect lens. Both centre and edge sharpness are very high throughout most of its focal length range, but performance drops off a little at the 100mm focal length, where you need to stop down to get acceptable results.

I'm really interested in this for video with F4 constant and IBIS, especially with the clutch mechanism.
However, I have the olymus 12-40 and use ex-tele on a g7 , and while the clutch mechanism is great in theory for using with a follow focus, the focus throw is only 90 degrees, and for documentary/event, 80% of the time you will be in the last 20 degrees of that throw which makes focusing pretty tricky. (To mitigate, I can change to smallest focus gear I have and add a 110mm focus ring but this makes it a pain to get on and off a rails system for lens changes).
Long story short, does anyone know what the focus throw on the barrel is and if its less sensitive than the 12-40mm due to it being more telephoto at the long end?
Thanks bjarne! Currently weighing up the pros and cons of this lens on g7 vs buying a fz2000.
