Thinking of a pair of Hero+4 silvers for a sports show - can I still use the battery pack, even though it would cover the silvers lcd screen?

Shot on GoPro Hero3 and Knog Qudos light mounted on a Selfie stick. No colour correction, camera was in 1080p 50 Medium FOV, auto everything, rendered from Sony Vegas Pro in 720p 50 as Cineform avi, then converted to 720p25 MP4 in Sorenson Squeeze @ 4000Mbps.

I could not figure out how to avoid the curve when shooting with action Camera

GoPro now offers a way to make money from footage

GoPro has just launched a new stock footage portal that will allow users to make money from their exploits. Details are sparse at the moment and the exact pricing structure is yet to be made public.

I just have to say now, I hope that these other "inexpensive" but higher quality options, like from Blackmagic, replaces the GoPro as a choice for filmmakers where ANYTHING other than color correction is planned in post production. The super-fisheye footage is immensely difficult to deal with and all methods for flattening are only partial solutions or not effective.

They're also frustratingly coy about the sensor specs on each model.

If you're a filmmaker and you plan to use these for scenes where even the most mundane of effect will be introduced, don't use these cameras. If you do you deserve to be charged double or triple, now that there are better alternatives. LOL, sorry, had to get that off my chest. I now hate these cameras, ha-hah.
