PROBLEM - GH2: please turn off camera and then back on again https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/6065/problem-gh2-please-turn-off-camera-and-then-back-on-again Sat, 09 Feb 2013 01:50:28 +0000 S2408 6065@/talks/discussions Every time I turn on the camera the "please turn off camera and then back on again" sign immediately appears. does anyone know what it is? is it hardware or software? there is no immediate connection with anything. one day turned on the camera and it just said this. tried it with out card or lens and it's the all the same. can't access nothing in the menu so a reset is impossible, right? oh, it's hacked to a very low bit rate (48 mb/s from mpgxsvcd based on v1.1) so I guess it has no relation to it, and it worked fine until now. if anyone could help or knows what's going one, please say something, thanks.

Read Error Please Check The Card https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/2912/read-error-please-check-the-card Tue, 17 Apr 2012 15:37:21 +0000 dualreality 2912@/talks/discussions Today I was using the Driftwood v3b Rocket patch in HBR mode and when playing back the video in-camera I experienced: "READ ERROR PLEASE CHECK THE CARD". This error appeared approximately 4 seconds into a 30 second clip. I turned the camera on and off and received the same error at the exact same point of playback. I received an identical error on practically every other clip that I shot. I've never had this problem before when using this patch. I didn't have a replacement SD card at the time of shooting so had to hope for the best!

Thankfully, after importing the files to my PC, the clips are fine and are fully intact.

The card I was using was a near-brand-new 32GB SANDISK EXTREME (NOT PRO) 45MB/s

I decided to try a little experiment to see if was a fault with the card. I transferred all the data from the card in question to another SD card (same make and model). Exactly the same error cropped up on the exact same clips at the exact same places when playing back in-camera.

Has anyone else run into this or have any theories or solutions.
