For Sale: Lanparte DSLR Baseplate, and Shoulder Pad. Both function together with 15mm rods (included). I've used both just several times and are practically new. Just get some rods and handles and you've got a good to go shoulder rig.

Base plate is $235 US new, Shoulder pad is $79 US new. Asking $150 for baseplate, and $50 for shoulder pad. Send me a message if you're interested.

FS: DSLR cage with top handle, top rails, cold shoe, and HDMI lock

Awesome cage for a A7s or similar camera. Will work with a 5d or similar without a handgrip also.

Comes with top handle, top rail mount, cold shoe, and HDMI lock.

Cold shoe can be moved anywhere on the cage.

All metal and super solid. I was using it with my A7s and it was great. I have decided to go Kinemini 4k, so I no longer have a need for this cage.

Top rails not included.

Paid a little over $300 for the whole thing about a month ago.

Quick release adapters and QR plates

I've recently purchased a GH1 while waiting for the GH2 hack. I have not received either camera's yet but I was wondering which quick release adapter & plate that is commended for tripod and shoulder rig on which the battery would still be accessible? With Google I find a few and some people recommend Acratech 2173 QR. Any tips?

Camera base question

Hallo everyone
its my first post here.
I have my DIY rig which id like to upgrade. In using a bigger manfrotto plates and adapters 357. Im looking for a part like in this video 0.15

regular 15-60mm rods mount with possibility to fit manfrotto 357 plate adapter. Id like to have same quick realise on rig, tripod etc.
can you recommend something?

Gorilla Plate for GH2

I'm looking for suggestions or "zacuto" gorilla plate for gh2. My setup consists of dslr base with D|focus follow focus system and zacuto gorilla plate. I found this setup to work perfectly on the canon cameras however, the zacuto gorilla plate is too big for my GH2 and there is no way to replace the battery with the gorilla plate screwed to the camera . The reason why I need "zacuto" gorilla plate for my gh2 is that is more portable and easier to slide up the camera from the dslr base with out touching the follow focus system. Any advice?

What Kind of Quick Release Plate do I Need for a Stabilizer?

Hi, I have this old glidecam (probably 25 years old) that someone gave me and I need to get some sort of quickrelease plate system for it but I have no idea on what kind of quick release plate kit I would need. Here is a photo of it.

There are all kinds of various quick release plates on ebay but some seem to be only half of a kit, different sizes, too big, too small, etc.

If you look at the photo, the sliding plate at the top of the glidecam only has a few centimeters of space between the base plate, so the bottom part has to be thin enough to fit inside the 2 plate areas but I have no idea how to differentiate between something that will work and something that won't and I don't have money to experiment buying various ones, I would like to get one that will work the first time.

If anyone can help me please check out ebay or elsewhere and send me a few links of plate kits (both the piece that will be permanent attaching from underneath the top plate of the stabilizer, and the piece that will then attach onto that first piece, then the 3rd piece or second piece that is permanently screwed into the camera that has some sort of switch function that would be easy to get to under a GH1 so that the camera can be easily attached and removed to the first or second piece without anything needing to be retightened after balancing every time you want to take off, put back on, take off, put back on.
