This the best adapter of its kind, and I bought it directly from cieco7 on ebay for $450 plus tax and shipping.

I'm selling it for only $335 plus shipping (I'm in the USA). Payment via paypal.

The adapter is in perfect working condition, and it only has a few cosmetic blemishes. It's served me very well the small handful of times I've used it.

But now, I've got to let it go because of finanical circumstances. My loss is your gain. See the pics below (lens not included!).

Using OCT-18/OCT-19 lenses on an M4/3 camera? https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/1179/using-oct-18oct-19-lenses-on-an-m43-camera Thu, 13 Oct 2011 20:25:25 +0000 Gabel 1179@/talks/discussions
This really intrigued me. After all, those lenses looks AMAZING from what I've seen picture-wise. What I want to know is how they are to use? From what I understand, there is no way to use them on a follow focus... I might be able to live with that, if the rest works. Also, I understand Ciecio7 is the best adapter to get for these, right? Question is basically, how much hassle is it? Is it worth it?

I should add that these are spherical, not anamorphics, but still!]]>

I'm currently building an OCT-19 LOMO lens set (and will eventually get part of my OCT-18 lenses accordingly). Those are the lenses I'm after: - 18mm optical block only would be great as I already have the housing - 22mm - 28mm - 35mm // Decent prices would be much appreciated ;-), metal follow-focus would be a great bonus. PM me if you have anything that corresponds to this for sale! Thanks

This is the one made and sold by Ciecio7 on ebay. I bought it from a nice guy on this website, but when I brought it home, I couldn't get it to work. The adapter connects perfectly to the camera, the lenses slide in smoothly, but the focus ring won't turn. Most likely I'm just having a brain fart and need to adjust one of the small screws on the adapter, so maybe this will be easy for you to do. So if you need one and are interested, I would suggest we meet locally so you can try it on your camera and lenses to make sure it works for you. I'm selling it for $120. GH3 Feature film grabs. https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/7296/gh3-feature-film-grabs. Wed, 19 Jun 2013 10:16:09 +0000 ryancglover 7296@/talks/discussions Hey folks. Just wanted to share some grabs from the first project I've DPed on the GH3. A microbudget feature we shot incredibly fast with a tiny crew at the beginning of June. The film was directed by Adam Christie.

I used the 50Mbps mode and Lomo lenses, mostly a 50mm, which I stopped down to between 5.6 and 8 because our locations were so important to the story.

Compared to my GH2, I really loved the battery life and how the HDMI image doesn't do anything funky when you hit record. The display info always disappearing was frustrating though.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

Thanks for looking!

Lomo anamorphic 35mm t2.5 for sale.-- SOLD https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/5477/lomo-anamorphic-35mm-t2.5-for-sale.-sold Thu, 13 Dec 2012 14:36:51 +0000 ipcmlr 5477@/talks/discussions I have a lomo 35mm f2.5 squarefront that I just had serviced by Olex Konvas Services in the Ukraine end of November 2012.

Selling for $1850 includes shipping to CONUS and Paypal fees.

So it has been cleaned. Both the spherical lens and anamorphic lens. Focus is smooth and aperture is easily turned as these have been just serviced.

The attachment between the spherical lens and the anamorphic front has been custom made so that the aperture and focus marks will always be clearly seen on the top. This has been collimated to ensure maximum sharpness at wide apertures. Even at f2.8 image is very good. Attachment between the lenses has been customized so that the anamorphic lens will never fall off even if you just hold the spherical lens.

Has a few minor issues that do NOT affect image quality: 1. Has tiny scratches on spherical lens. 2. Coating on anamorphic front is a bit worn off. 3. It appears that a previous owner had seen fungus on the lens and cleaned it out but there are very light marks the fungus left on the lens.

Pics of all the minor issues/lens can be seen here:

The lens is in very fine condition, and seems to have had light use.

Here are specifics:

22mm OKC3-22-1 (920003) t2.3: SOLD!!

No fungus, haze, oil, and has little to no dust. The iris blades are clean, and the iris ring turns pretty smoothly (there's just a tiny bit of resistance at certain spots but really nothing major unless you are doing super critical iris pulls). The focus ring is nice and smooth. There are some minor cosmetic blemishes on the housing of the lens and caps. It comes with front and rear caps.

I should also note that this is the original kinor pitch gear (not arri): if I'm not mistaken, it is a 50 pitch gear.

This price includes full insurance and delivery via USPS within the continental USA; I also ship internationally (outside the continental USA), but I'll have to charge a bit more for the extra postage it will cost me.

Short film shot with GH2 + Lomo cinema lenses https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/2217/short-film-shot-with-gh2-lomo-cinema-lenses Wed, 08 Feb 2012 00:57:53 +0000 ed_lee83 2217@/talks/discussions I know a few peeps here are fans of Lomo lenses (and some are also selling them on here), so I've finally been able to upload a short I DP'ed last year shot here in Hong Kong with the GH2 (unhacked!), filmed entirely with Lomo OCT-19 glass: Standard speeds 18mm (a bit unsharp here), 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, 37-140. Plus a 35mm T1.4 for the stills used in the short. Unfortunately I couldn't secure the 1080 version, this was a DVD rip. The short is gonna try some other fests so I have to keep it private viewing for now. It's called "This File Cannot Be Deleted" (director's in-joke) and is in Chinese, so it has English subtitles. The story is loose at best, but I'd say most of you would like to see the quality of the lenses. It was showcased at a film festival here and held up very well on the big screen.

The only fly in the ointment was a common affliction found in lenses that have survived years of abuse: fungus :( HHL told me about it before I bought the Lomo, so it came as no surprise, and at first I didn't see any visible effects on my footage. After some practice with anamorphic double-focusing, however, I started to notice the subtle milky spots produced by the fungus stains. Bummer.

Soon after I received the Lomo, I tried to take off the front lens plate to see how it was put together. Predictably, there was just one little screw out of the eight that would not budge, dissuading me from going any further. This morning, however, I finally resolved to force my way into the Lomo's inner sanctum, and pried up the lid until the wretched screw head broke off. This exposed the thick front anamorphic lens element, which was wedged in place with a few metal shims. After coaxing these out, the front element compliantly dropped into my palm, along with the fleeting scent of decades-old lubricant. Success!

To disinfect the Lomo's interior realms, I mixed up some Butanone spiked with a dash of Stolichnaya vodka. This made its anamorphic parts glisten appreciatively. After it's reassembled, I'll put up some frame grabs.]]>
