Vivaldi Spring, complete (La Primavera)

Vivaldi's concerto, performed on original baroque instruments. Vivaldi wrote a sonnet directly onto the musical score, and this is available in the original Italian as well as translation using the CC feature of YouTube (select Italian using the little gear, it's better!).
Cameras: Sony a6400, ax100, ax700, Lumix G85, G7, GX85 and a few random cameras.

Hi fox ! This is my last edit, a short film about freestyle snowboarding. A beautiful day in a marvelous park with the two killers Matteo Cuny and Nicolas Palladio. Top of the pop, we finished with a beautiful sunset. So glad and happy to have shot this.

Les Folies d'Espagne: La Folia

The Folies d'Espagne is one of the oldest known dance forms. In this historical reconstruction, you will see the dance performed on instruments from the 17th century. On the right is the French baroque guitar, which was based on late renaissance instruments popular in Spain and Italy, as well the triple harp, which is a harp with three sets of strings (just for @Mark_the_Harp). On the left, an early form of the recorder, and a baroque violin using the smaller, lighter bow; the violin is played without a chinrest as well. The accompaniment is improvised by the musicians who are given a simple chord chart, similar to the way Jazz musicians improvise. The seven string instrument on the left is a viola da gamba, which existed side by side with the cello for hundreds of years before disappearing in the late 18th century. The viola da gamba has frets like a guitar, to facilitate the playing of chords, as well as microtones which were used in the baroque time.

Ok, looks like we might have the meet up locked down here. Looks like we're going to be at Big Wangs at 801 SOUTH GRAND AVE. LA, CA 90017 (don't let the name fool you, it's not that bad) on the 13th of Jul at 1PM. They offered to let us have the patio which might be nice but if it's a little hot, I'm sure we can move it inside. I'll throw up some money for some appetizer trays and a couple pitchers of beer but by no means expect anyone else to. I know some wanted to hold this at different locations and possible have some sort of speaker or viewing but some of us think it's better just to have an initial meet and great, then if all goes well and there's enough combined interest, look into other events down the road. Here's a poll to get a real headcount for the business on the 13th. If you could take a min and let us know if you plan to show, that would be great and a huge help.

In terms of transpo, like I said before, there's two lots right across the street that charge $6 on the weekends and @Shian said the Metro let's off a couple blocks away which is pretty convenient.

Like we said before, if anyone wants to bring some gear that others might be interested in trying, go ahead and let us know. I'll bring my SLR Magic Cine set and Rokinon Cine set, though I just did sell the 14mm to one of our guys here. Maybe he'll bring it if anyone wants to try it.
