Wireless Streaming GH4 to external monitor https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/13018/wireless-streaming-gh4-to-external-monitor Thu, 21 May 2015 03:06:57 +0000 Alexauwa 13018@/talks/discussions I am looking for a live-viewing solution when filming on my GH4. I need to find a solution where the GH4 picture is transferred to any HDMI device such as a Aputure vs-2 or desktop monitor. I need clients to watch as well as mount my aputure vs-2 on the remote controller of the ronin-m.

DJI itself seems to have some general solution which I have not yet testet. Any user experience?

Are there any other wireless system solutions?

EVO controller keyboard https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/5109/evo-controller-keyboard Mon, 05 Nov 2012 10:27:44 +0000 Vitaliy_Kiselev 5109@/talks/discussions

The evo is a pure keyboard controller that is connected to a computer via an Ethernet interface, and that communicates via Midi, OSC or our own in-house protocol with synthesizers, sequencers or similar. The keys are the special feature here. Every single key is equipped with a sensor that allows evo to read the finger position on a certain area of the key surface. Thus, every key offers, in addition to pitch and velocity, an additional level of polyphonic data input that can be used for continuous control of independent notes.

Why SD controllers are slow in most pre-2012 cameras https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/7415/why-sd-controllers-are-slow-in-most-pre-2012-cameras Tue, 02 Jul 2013 17:20:30 +0000 driftwood 7415@/talks/discussions Ever wondered why the SD card of the 5DMKIII is much slower than the CF card speeds even though the SD card is advertised at faster writes than the camera can perform? This article (which may have already been referenced in p-v) is here for those to read.

DIY motor and motor pwm speed controller how ? https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/6393/diy-motor-and-motor-pwm-speed-controller-how- Wed, 13 Mar 2013 15:45:43 +0000 feha 6393@/talks/discussions I want to build a speed controlled motor for slider or/and product turn table ...

I need to find information on about what motor can work 0.1 to 10 rpm (or more) with at least 7.2V (Sony npf battery) and to be strong in order to rotate or move at least 5-10 weight ... This should be with PWM controllable speed motor ... Found some speed controllers on eBay but don't know what motor to choose. Any suggestion is welcome ...

DMX controller for LED lights https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/4935/dmx-controller-for-led-lights Fri, 19 Oct 2012 10:31:30 +0000 Psyco 4935@/talks/discussions As I have a DN2-T&D 900 LED light and I'm very interested in the LED fresnells and getting more DN2's, a DMX controller would be interesting.

I'm looking for a box with one USB connection to a computer (which software?) and several DMX outputs to hook up the lights. I know you can daisy chain the lights, but to have 2 or 3 output sockets would still be of an advantage.

Vitaliy_Kiselev

You can get any for cheap, locally or on aliexpress.com. :-)

In fact, I think that Wi-Fi must be mandatory for led or fluo modern lights.

@Vitaliy_Kiselev I had a look at aliexpress, but I didn't find a DMX controller for my DN2. The DN2 has a 5 pin connector, all controllers do seem to only have 3 pin connectors (looks like XLR plugs to me).

Any information or experience reports with DMX controllers are appreciated.
