Hi,

i just wondered if it is possible to focus on the GH5 via USB-C? Either with a bought device or by building the controller by yourself. Since the Ronin S can do it i am quiet sure it should also be possible for others?

C Mount Lenses for m43

Hi guys,

I wanted to know if anyone has experience with C Mount Lenses. I was looking at some different lenses and really don't understand the difference between the CCTV, 16mm, 2/3" C Mount Lenses and if they can work with the GH1.
I also noticed that they make mention of some Lenses being 1" or 1/2". What does this mean for use with a GH1?

C mount Fujinon E6x14AM f/1.6 14-84mm : Conversion help & Sensor size

Hi all,

So I have a Fujinon E6X14AM f/1.6 14-84mm TV Zoom lens that's C mount. What I'm trying to understand is what sensor sizes this lens will be compatible with for conversion. Can anyone help me out?

Also, I wanted to know if someone could link me to a site/document that explains which dimensions on the rear mount of a lens determine which sensor sizes it will cover.

In need of a decent "C" cam for the GH2 & G6 combo (on a budget)

Hey guys, apologies if this isn't in the correct section.

Did a search, only a few things came up... but these are posts from 2011. New cameras pop up all the time etc.

I'm in need of a decent camera that will act as my "C" camera (a backup body, also as my wide-perspective for weddings and other events). Price should be about $400US. What would you suggest?

The cameras I've been looking at are:

Lumix GF2
Lumix GF3
Lumix GX1
GoPro Hero 3+ (out of my price range, but it's on the list because I originally considered it)
Used GH2 (I can't seem to find any on eBay AU, and other websites have them still sitting on a price of $600+)

Some help here would be great.. as I have looked and looked, but I have no idea what to expect. I just want a camera that slots in with these two cameras but also not break the bank. If it comes with a lens, that is helpful.

SHIFTING-Feature documentary shot with GH2

PTool v3.64, Orion, Canon 5dmk3, digital Bolex...leave for a few weeks and look what happens. Anyway back from Antarctica, first film I've made completely on my own. The GH2 worked great, loaded with LPowell's flo-motion, CBrandin's 66m, Driftwood's Quantum v9b and GH13timelapser. Used flo-motion for steadicam, CBrandin for interviews and Driftwood Quantum v9b for beauty shots, but running and gunning had me using them all for different situations.

I'll load up more later but for now here's a penguin.

Thanks to Vitaliy and everyone on this site for making it possible for us all to go out and shoot quality stuff that will hopefully reflect well the efforts and sense of community that you can find only here.
