I'm organizing my backup HDD's, and I'm wondering is there a program out there that can make some sort of virtual directory of every file on that drive so I can save that info on my main computer and use it to locate the actual drive where the file is located on.

I'm not sure if I'm describing this clearly enough, I'm from far away from USA :D

This is basically what I'm looking for;

• program scans and stores the entire directory tree of my Backup HD's, creates some kind of searchable file
• I save that on my main PC and when I want to find something, I don't need to plug each and every backup HD I just need to browse thru that virtual directory of my HD's

Am I making sense here? :D
