'zlp' on the MaxMSP forum posted a solution for correcting the GH2's HDMI YUV-shift in realtime. Great for live visualists and the like:
The basic idea:

The correct thing to do would be adding a little 'edited by xxx' note.
No, it is not the correct thing. It is just mess.
As for editing, it is usual practice if post is useful, but can be improved.
Hi luxis. (I'm the author of the link that dtr shared.) There are inexpensive thunderbolt and USB3 HDMI capture boxes from BlackMagic although I haven't tried them: http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/
The Matrox MXO2 Mini box can be bought with an expresscard interface for older Apple laptops or a thunderbolt interface for newer ones. I use the PCIe interface with the MXO2 (on a tower) and it has way more latency than the (PCIe) BlackMagic Intensity Pro. http://www.matrox.com/video/en/products/mxo2_mini/
Note that your GH2 needs to be set to PAL HBR mode if you want to take advantage of the chroma fix in MAX. (more info in the original links at the top of this thread)
Have fun!
