SLR MAGIC adds the staple 10mm to their MicroPrimes lineup.

Following the success of SLR Magic’s ventures into affordable yet robust and high-quality cinema and photo lenses, we are pleased to announce another addition to our product range. Based on popular demand and responding to our users, SLR Magic has added their workhorse 10mm T2.1 into the MicroPrime family.

“Our current 10mm has proved to be an immensely popular lens. It has been utilized by John Brawley ACS for “The Resident” Drama TV series, and Ben Allan ACS for a camera array system until recently. Joey Fameli, from the hugely successful channel “Tested”, was founded by Adam Savage. Joey got a first look at the newly rehoused version. The new 10mm MicroPrime is manufactured in the same build quality and form factor as the current line-up of MicroPrimes, and still features low edge and corner distortion, while yielding its signature look. Check out Joey’s video here to see why it was one of his favorite focal lengths in the kit.

All MicroPrimes lenses feature-complete manual control, have a 82mm thread front, a 85mm front diameter for clamp-on matte box, are all 0.8 Mod geared, and are almost identical in form factor and weight.

With this, SLR Magic has now expanded its MicroPrime range. With continuous design adjustments and optical optimization, this new focal length will now expand the range and provide a nice wide lens for all MicroPrime shooters

SLR Magic has been synonymous with sharp images wide open with smooth roll-off, beautiful bokeh edge to edge, and is fast becoming the lens of choice rather than an alternative for the Cine and Photo industry.

SLR Magic will start shipping the SLR Magic MicroPrime CINE 10mm T2.1 in June 2022 at a MSRP of $399.00 USD
