    I remember the days when I carried a very heavy broadcast camera on my shoulder. I was always tired at the end of the day. Shooting handheld was easier than carrying a tripod as well. I would have loved to have this little adapter for monopods. It would have taken the weight off my shoulder with adding too much weight. That is exactly what this does. An ingenious design. It could also be use open a tripod instead of the big V-Lock plant that comes with the camera.
