Any Downsides to this? Low Battery life?
Thunderbolt 3 ports instead of full size USB 3.0 ports (this is not really a complaint from me - I would much rather have the extreme high bandwidth ports available...)
Does it have a separate charging port or only charges through Thunderbolt 3?

The dual USB Type-C ports on the Dell XPS 12 support Thunderbolt 3, DisplayPort 1.2, and USB 3.1. They also support docking and charging when applicable.
I see no issues with it. It is latest Core M chip, must work long on battery even with so small form factor.
