Can be risky (cooling is very important here), I suggest to check Lishuai fresnels first, at least I know that they work normally.

I have seen those before on Ebay, they come in different colours and powers (up to 200W) but look all like the same construction. I think the 100W and 200W are the most interesting (and most difficult to built, because of cooling).
Was wondering the same: Good bang for the buck or total crap?

No one knows. Biggest thing with this is light quality (many use very cheap chips). And also cooling, any error with cooling here can lead to bad things as they are very hot (contrary to panels).
