Conforming MJPEGs to 25p with Cinema Tools produces files that FCP won't import. Any other workflow? http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/3544/conforming-mjpegs-to-25p-with-cinema-tools-produces-files-that-fcp-wont-import.-any-other-workflow Mon, 11 Jun 2012 08:28:24 +0000 ickejohannes 3544@/talks/discussions Sorry if this has already been answered, I've been searching the forum but so far without finding a solution.

I'm trying to get MJPEGs from the GH2 to play at 25 (or 24) fps for a slight slow-motion effect. However when I conform the clips with Cinema Tools, the resulting files cannot be imported in FCP, as I get the error "File Error: Unknown File".

Does anyone know what the problem is or could help me out with an alternative workflow to get FCP to playback the MJPEGs at 24 or 25fps?

Sound edit tutorial? http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/3399/sound-edit-tutorial Tue, 29 May 2012 06:04:40 +0000 tonalt 3399@/talks/discussions So I have now quality video, pro color correction, good microphone & recorder. But what about audio editing?

  1. What audio edit program you recommend for Windows? Is Pro Tools any good?
  2. Is there some basic rules that you should remember in audio editing? E.g. what the volume should be and how to measure that.
  3. Some tricks you should do? I heard about compressing and limiting but not quite sure what that means.
  4. Good tutorials (in video) online?

I'm especially looking for quality little screwdrivers that I could use to tighten lens screws. Suggestions (link where I can order online with shipping to Europe)? I don't want to buy those cheap super market models.
