Parfocal zoom lenses are really hard to come by, but I know that some special adapters offers adjustments from the back focus/flange in order to get a very close parfocal use from the lens.

So, which one correspond to this ? I have a RJ Nikon to mf3 adapter (an old version). But what else is out there and are they worthwhile ? What other change the RJ adapters offers now and is it worth the change ?

Thanks to answer

Newbie looking for lenses recommandations http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/11316/newbie-looking-for-lenses-recommandations Wed, 17 Sep 2014 15:50:41 +0000 monks19 11316@/talks/discussions Hi. I do some events filming with Lumix cameras (G6 & GH2) using Sigma (Nikon mounts) zoom lenses with RJ adapters. All lenses are at f2.8 max for speed and luminosity. I know that the lowest can go down to f1.4, but I havent been able, so far, to find zoom lenses like this, whatever the brand, especially at a good price (lower than 500 $, used or new).

Does any of you have any recommandations/suggestions on which zoom lenses (whatever the brand, as long as an m43 adapter is avalaible) I should get with my cams (and which adapters, if needed and unavalaible with the RJ m43 ones) ?

Thanks to answer.

First Paid work with the GH3 - Jan Wheeler: Canadian Wilderness Artist http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/9616/first-paid-work-with-the-gh3-jan-wheeler-canadian-wilderness-artist Thu, 13 Feb 2014 17:28:05 +0000 tylerknight 9616@/talks/discussions Last fall, I picked up the GH3 after owning the GH1 and GH2.

This is a promotional video I was hired to shoot for Canadian Wilderness Artist, Jan Wheeler.

The entire video was shot with the GH3, RJ Lens Turbo FD-M4/3, Canon FD 50mm f1.4, Canon FD 24mm F2.8 S.S.C. & Konova 24" Slider.

This was also the first shoot with my new RJ Lens Turbo and it performed AMAZINGLY as you can see!

Wireless Availabilities (Sound) Bill in U.S. http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/7710/wireless-availabilities-sound-bill-in-u.s. Wed, 07 Aug 2013 10:39:05 +0000 kingmixer 7710@/talks/discussions I may be late to hearing about it, but I just found out about this: http://broadcastengineering.com/audio/house-bill-calls-wireless-mic-safe-havens

At least it's an attempt to make life easier for us location sound people. Here in the U.S., of course they took away the 700 band and I had heard a rumor that in a few years time the 600s would go. So seeing this helps put me at a peace of mind – I already have enough trouble with finding good frequencies and not getting RF hits as it is. Just thought I'd share if anyone had additional news or wanted to contact their rep.
