I don't see the need to spend a grand or more on Kessler style stuff and have been looking at items like a Hague 360 Degrees Motorised Power Head With Remote Control. Mounting a GH4 / Sony A7SII.

Has anyone used the Hague or what's the best £500 ($700) max budget. Opinions sought.

Tripod adapter that automatically follows with pan and tilt http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/1853/tripod-adapter-that-automatically-follows-with-pan-and-tilt Thu, 29 Dec 2011 05:11:00 +0000 AKED 1853@/talks/discussions
I have a question.

I have come across a product that is quite fascinating.

You can see it here:

The website

http://www.swivl.com/about/

Some videos with and about it

It is a tripod adapter, that has a sender and a receiver.
Where ever the sender moves, the receiver follows.
Panning and tilting.

So if you do not have a cameraman but move in front of the camera, this is ideal.

The problem is, that it omly works with smartphones, preferably IPhones and light point and shoot cameras up to 6 ounces.

So my question is:
Does anybody know of a similar product, that would work with a GH2 ?

Thanks in advance and happy new year.

Pan shots without jerking http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/1681/pan-shots-without-jerking Thu, 08 Dec 2011 08:13:10 +0000 Kihlian 1681@/talks/discussions I had before a Sony HDR-AX2000e that shoots in 50i and the jerk was not so accentuated.
When i render the video, if I choose WMV the jerk is attenuated, but if I choose the H.264 with the same settings the video jerks even more. (I use Premiere pro cs4).
I also try to shoot 25p with 25 shutter speed, but it´s not really better.
I look around many blogs, but no one is approaching thys problem of the digital movies.
Anyone has experience with this problem?
Thanks.
