I've come across some pretty nice sensor chips related to one of my cameras. So, I'm curious about getting a 3-chip prism I could attach them to. I literally could buy three devices that used them, strip them, and attach them to the prism. I've heard about making them many years ago, so which ever is easiest.

This is a curiosity.

Meet Cine-Altin Knight Driver http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/12965/meet-cine-altin-knight-driver Mon, 11 May 2015 14:17:54 +0000 CinemaLumix 12965@/talks/discussions The only equipment, screw driver that makes sense. Easy to handle and difficult to lose on the set. It will eliminate the constant search for a quarter in the depths of your pocket. It is durable and none bendable. And will look more professional. It is still in the prototype stages, but it is going to get a nice and thick rubber head grip and more improvements to the design! I would like any inputs or suggestions from my film colleagues. What do you think?

Film-making in the cold - how do you keep your equipment going? http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/5595/film-making-in-the-cold-how-do-you-keep-your-equipment-going Thu, 27 Dec 2012 19:24:19 +0000 RRRR 5595@/talks/discussions On set today (just below 0 celsius) I had a hard time with vintage focusing helicoids stiffening up to the point where it was impossible to use a follow focus. A fog machine couldn´t get warm enough to produce smoke, among other things. What are your tips / workarounds for keeping gear in working order when the conditions are difficult? Another day of shooting tomorrow and I´m trying to come up with some ways to at least be able to use the lenses I intended to.
