This means 27 weeks of street demonstration with, violence from both sides and repression is now out of limits with new laws allowing abusive arrests and violence with hundreds of severely wounded protesters. However, protesters are not willing to give up.

I personally followed 14th of those events in Paris, as photojournalist. I own a wide range of cameras such as Nikon D750, Nikon D5500, Sony A7M2 and GH5.

After different test and try, I decided to stick to the GH5 as I can easily switch from photos to videos. Also, having more depth of field at wide aperture is an advantage in this kind of environment.

I just wanted to share some of my shots, to show what M43 can do in a difficult working surrounding.

I am using Lumix lenses : 7-14 mm f/4, 12-35 mm f/2.8, 35-100 mm f/2.8, 100 - 300 mm f/4-5.6

Update: I created a Flickr Album here with 118 pictures, most of them with explicative caption : https://www.flickr.com/gp/eurocameraman/kH0H7X

Need help identifying this lens & mount! http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/4273/need-help-identifying-this-lens-mount Fri, 17 Aug 2012 02:34:54 +0000 bonanza69 4273@/talks/discussions OK, I'm wanting see if anyone can help me identify what lens mount this could be and if you know who possibly could have made it and its possible uses(would just be a bonus). It has no markings whatsoever except "lens made in France". It's a zoom and has 10blade aperture(no clicks), so i assume its a cine lens considering the age. It's black but seems to be made of brass. I'm thinking 16mm or super16mm.. not sure. Any help would be appreciated!

Arthurian Brocéliande - Tokina 11-16 Driftwood VY Canis Majoris http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/4345/arthurian-broceliande-tokina-11-16-driftwood-vy-canis-majoris Thu, 23 Aug 2012 15:32:45 +0000 richardwouter 4345@/talks/discussions Some footage that I shot on holiday in France with my Panasonic GH2 and Tokina AT-X Pro 11-16 lens. Shot in the Paimpont forest (said to be the Arthurian Brocéliande) and near Mont Saint-Michel. A timelapse at the golden hour before darkness.

Just for fun to play with my new wide lens. No special grading.

Camera : Panasonic GH2 AVC-Intra (Driftwood VY Canis Majoris Day PM) Lens : Tokina AT-X 116 Pro DX AF 11-16mm f2.8 Gear : Sachtler FSB-4 75 CF, Gini Rig Follow Focus, Lilliput field monitor Tools: FCPX

Locations: Paimpont forest, sometimes said to be the Arthurian Brocéliande, is in the French commune of Paimpont, near the city of Rennes in Brittany. As Brocéliande it had a reputation in the Medieval imagination as a place of magic and mystery. It is the setting of a number of adventures in Arthurian legend, notably Chrétien de Troyes's Yvain, the Knight of the Lion, and locals[citation needed] claim the tree in which the Lady of the Lake supposedly imprisoned Merlin can still be seen today.

Mont Saint-Michel (Saint Michael's Mount) is a rocky tidal island and a commune in Normandy, France. It is located approximately one kilometre (just over half a mile) off the country's north-western coast, at the mouth of the Couesnon River near Avranches. The population of the island is 41, as of 2006. The Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay are part of the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
