So I know C mount lenses can be used for different modern/digital cameras with varying sensor sizes, as long as you have the right adapter. Can D mount lenses be used in a similar way? Or are they simply too small? Also, was wondering about M mount (Kodak Cine) lenses--can they be adapted for use with newer cameras?

Thanks for any insights!

Want to get into adapting lenses to my gh4. Not sure where to start http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/11416/want-to-get-into-adapting-lenses-to-my-gh4.-not-sure-where-to-start Sat, 27 Sep 2014 09:07:00 +0000 nosignal 11416@/talks/discussions Hi everyone! I recently upgraded from my gh2 to the new gh4.

I've got two m4/3 panasonic brand lenses (14-42kit and 20mm pancake).

I've been wanting to start adapting some foreign lenses to my gh2 and gh4 but I'm pretty clueless on where to start. Since there are so many options, I'm a bit overwhelmed on what route to go. I've read a bunch about people adapt FD mount lenses to their cameras. And I've read about the canon 50mm. I like doing hyperlapse and timelpase photography, also, a lot of different kinds of video work. I usually use my camera outside in the sun, and at night for timelapses. I guess I'm just looking to get some more variety in my choices.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks
