Digital Cinema Camera in an x-ray machine?

    I'm going to the east coast to see fam next week. Thinking of bringing my bmcc ef on the flight but hesitant to put it through an x-ray machine. I've searched the web and it looks like some folks have had problems with memory cards being wiped and one person claimed their point and shoot stopped working after a trip through an x-ray machine. Anyone know if it's a good idea to be putting a cinema camera through an x-ray machine?
