I've got a Fotga DP500 2 follow focus - it's very good - got it on PV deals here. It's on a rig with rails (Beginner Rig from deals as well). Problem is, if I want to switch lenses, I can't get the part that attaches to the rails to loosen up enough to slide the follow focus down the rail. The part that attaches to the rails seems to be locked on there. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
I think we have topic about this FF.
As for stuck part, I suppose it is QR type one, usually they consist from threaded screw and hand screw other it.
So if you turn external screw internal can also turn slightly :-)
Also make some small video.
Don't think it's a QR, but making a bit of progress here by squeezing the rods by hand. If I can't figure out, I will make video and post to DP500 topic. Thanks
@Vitaliy_Kiselev Problem solved. Apparently some of the DP500 2 are a bit tight on the rails, but found a fotga QR part on ebay that basically is what the DP500 2S has on it. It seems adjustable so I should be fine. Anyone interested in the QR part, here's the ebay link.

From my expirience, FF is very accurate, it is rails that can have significant difference.
If you use it on rig just use bit of sand paper.
Ok. Thought maybe rails was it - you're probably right. Ordering that part on ebay link, and that should compensate if rails a bit off.
