Hi, An excavation into the attic unearthed an old TOSHIBA COLOR VIDEO CAMERA ik-1900 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Owners-Manual-Toshiba-IK-1900-Color-Video-Camera-/230389930914)
It has a Nikon TV-nikkor zoom macro 12.5-100mm 1:1.6 lens which i have unscrewed out of the camera and wish to use it on my Panny GH2 but have no clue what mount to use to do the same. I tried asking all the DP's and techies i know but they have no clue on the lens. Even google hasnt been able to help at all. Can someone who knows their lenses well share any info on this and recommend me a mount for this lens for my GH2? Links to the right mount or names will be much appreciated.
Make photos of the lens mount and post here.
@club_irate Since you "unscrewed it" it could likely be C or CS mount. Early Sony video cameras used C mount (I recall, I don't think it was CS mount). I once had one like this on a 16mm Bolex, it wasn't very sharp and would definitely not cover the MFT sensor unless in ETC mode. http://www.ebay.com/itm/sony-tv-zoom-lens-1-1-8-f-12-5-75mm-lens-japan-/300933430707
Other unlikely possibilities are Leica screw mount, M42, T mount. Start here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lens_mount
Get a cheap digital caliper http://www.harborfreight.com/6-inch-digital-caliper-47257.html if you can and take some measurements in a photo like here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/281035008252?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 There are measurements of C mount there at the bottom of the list of photos if you look for them.
If your lens is CS mount I don't think it will have inf. focus on the GH2, as I recall.
