Are online courses worth it?

    I haven't taken an online film course but did attend a film school. I'll say this much: film is one of those disciplines that's best taught in a hands-on environment with actual equipment that you can learn on. Learning just theory is fine to a point, but eventually you will have to work with the tools too.
