I've always put my Documentaries on DVD which has worked out fairly well. I certainly don't get rich at it and still have to do contract work for most of my income...but still, it is income and I enjoy them. I also have a target audience that will buy them.

Recently Criterion Theaters was built near me and they do Art and Documentary films. They also have facilities for private showings. I've never had one in a theater and am toying with the idea of a one shot deal. The cost of the facility is $375.00 for two hours which includes the projector operator and a 47 seat theater. I'm sure not going to make money at it but it may also help DVD sales...Plus I get to strut around like Jethro Bodine.

Any thoughts on this?????
