would you happen to know the way? i mean i know how to make film burns jus not this

it's just really fast and sporadic cuts

this is an edit I helped my wife do for a art project for college. the original edit was shown with a projector, and then they did the other stuff in front of it. it's kinda supposed to represent "the weight of the world on your shoulders"

@jclmedia Those aren't film burns.

Those are examples of extreme [macro/micro]photography, photographed through a microscope, generally. Different backlit liquids are mixed via syringe and recorded at non-realtime speed to create these crazy, organic patterns.

The originator, or at least most recognized practitioner of these effects would be Peter Parks. He made quite a name for himself after contributing these effects for Richard Donner's Superman: The Movie in 1978.
