I've got this lens on my wishlist at Amazon:

and was wondering if I could adapt it for use on my GH2. I have a Vivitar 400mm FD lens that I use. I also have the Lumix 100-300 lens. I'm thinking maybe this Canon lens would be really sharp for my nature photography/video as the Vivitar isn't that great and the 100-300 is a bit dull after 200mm. I think that Canon 400 I have listed is manual, but I could be wrong.

Canon EF lenses can certainly be used with your GH2 with an adapter, but if the lens does not have a manual aperture ring, you will have no aperture control. And of course you would only have manual focusing.
Thank you, Balazer. Any chance you could point me to a Canon EF adapter for the GH2?

About a month ago on vacation I saw a CL ad for an Alpex 400mm f/6.3 (Minolta mount). I had some time and so I checked it out and I was very pleasantly surprised by both the build and image quality. Only real trick is the minimum focus distance and lack of stabilization - it's a heavy lens and difficult to shoot handheld. The evening I purchased the lens I stopped by forest on a whim and managed to capture film of a bobcat near sunset - the subject cooperated by moving very slowly. :-)
I also have the 100-300 and I agree with you about the dullness on the long end. However, the image stabilization is a real help.
@ragnar There's several ones available. Did you want one with or without aperture control?
Here are several. I've used the Fotodiox one without aperture control happily for a long time.
I haven't tried these but they have some aperture control apparently.
You guys are the best. Thanks to thepalaias and vt10tdi for the great information.
Happy Holidays!

Just search for "canon ef adapter m43" on eBay. I don't recommend the adapters with built-in apertures, as the aperture is not in the right place to limit the light without severe vignetting.
Really, I'd suggest looking for a lens with a manual aperture control, perhaps in a mount other than Canon EF. Not having a proper aperture control will severely limit the usefulness of a lens. The Alpex that v10tdi mentioned looks alright to me. I see one now on eBay.
