Gh3 live waveform monitoring

Hi I just got my GH3 and was wondering what would be the most Cost effective way to get live wave monitoring. Unfortunately, waveforms are missing in the cam. How about FCPX? Know that Blackmagic has a solution but at 400 euro rather expensive and seems to be SDI. I guess external monitors with waveform are going to be expensive too.
