Damn, wish I could afford the Fostex right now. That's a fantastic deal - especially as they seem to hold their value nicely.

Yup :-) Finding new homes for good stuff that just sits on my shelves. For those unfamiliar with it, look where the Fostex FR2-LE stands in this signal/noise comparison done by Avisoft (including the popular Zoom H4N, Tascam DR100 etc.

Sorry, I don't know but I use a super cheap 4GB Patriot CF card without problem.
