Hacking Canon AVCHD Camcorders

Is it possible? I have an old vixia hg20 i would love to get more use out of. I'm not familiar at all with the Gh2 hacking, but I do know they both use avchd. Does anyone more knowledgeable than me care to contribute their thoughts?

Otherwise, I really suggest you to get more modern camcorder.

Thanks for the response! I have a 550d/t2i outfitted for video use, but I felt I would at least ask about my camcorder, hoping to save it from gathering dust. I suppose not!
