Strange stabilization idea for camera phones

For $14 this looks like a pretty decent option to shoot with a camera phone (we all do it occasionally!)

I have big doubts about stabilization here.

If nothing else, it does provide a simple adapter to mount a camera phone onto the stabilization of your choice -- slider, jib, steadicam, tripod or car suction mount. I haven't seen any other phone holders with tripod mounting possibilities, so for me it was a no-brainer.
