Questionable waterproof performance with GoPro's (only splashproof?)

    The Hero5 Black was the first waterproof design of the GoPro cameras, but it was riddled with initial production issues on the waterproof performance. Things might not have improved that much as customers often experiences leaks with the waterproof camera body. Is it perhaps an engineering fault?

    Personally I sometimes use them in water parks but would probably never take the camera diving down to 10 meters as advertised.
