If it has good 4k + phase detect AF + IS + flippy screen it is going to be the vloggers camera to have. I'm considering selling my G85 and go with Olympus because of the phase detect AF.

I was looking into the OMD EM1-II, since the new firmware 3.0 - 3.1 it's has gained PDAF in video, and from the video's I've seen it looks acceptable as it's not hunting with normal light, unlike my G85. But I know of Olympus' strange restrictions and would for sure love to see Panasonic to use PDAF, but they won't. And really what I want is smooth focussing without the hunting and pulsing. I've posted at numerous comment's suggestions of how I believe can do that with they current DFD, by continuously measuring the amount of blur and estimating the subjects distance while pulling focus. I like the M34 form factor and I think it's very suited for my outdoor activities.

If the E-M5-3 delivers something near the above video, I think it will be a winner, and it will for sure Panasonic to up their autofocus ability.

If the Phase Detect Auto Focus works good in both stills and video I think I'll be very happy with this camera. I plan on using it for my mountain hiking and underwater photography and video. This is close to a GH5, minus the 10 bit colour but with the added smooth non pulsing AF. I also like the lighter weight. Coming from the G80 I'm a bit weary of the Olympus menus, but hopefully I can customise a setting for speedy recordings of fleeting moments. I often find many menu options only offer a minute image improvement but needlessly increase the operation complexity to get the best image. I hope some day we get to configure our own body, dials and menu's. Just like cars offer different models and additional options. Maybe 3D printing will get us there.

Long Exposure Shooting

Long exposure shooting is made easier with several amazing features pioneered by Olympus: Live Composite, Live Bulb and Live View. Live Composite creates a single image from multiple shots by compositing (stacking) them together. This mode combines long-exposure with compositing and is incredibly useful and easy-to-use. Applications for Live Composite vary from star trails, Milky Way, auroras, light painting, light trails, fireworks and so much more. Live Bulb allows the photographer to hold the shutter release to begin the exposure and watch the image build on the LCD screen. Focus Bracketing and Focus Stacking

Focus Bracketing can capture up to 999 shots with a single shutter activation while shifting the focal position slightly between each shot. The amount of focal shift can be selected from 10 levels, and recorded images can be combined into one single, evenly exposed image, using Olympus Workspace V1.1 image editing software. It is possible to create a single image with a depth of field that cannot be obtained simply by stopping down the aperture. Because the aperture is not stopped down too far during shooting, this feature also enables high image quality. The camera is also equipped with Focus Stacking, which automatically composites images on the camera. Eight photos with different focal positions are composited on the camera for a photo with a greater depth of field that is in focus from the foreground to the background.
