I've been asked to edit some footage that was shot in SD. Editing in Premiere Pro CC. I know my optimal export settings when editing 1080P HD, in terms of using VBR 2 pass and setting optimal Target and Maximum Bitrate. Does anyone know if there are optimal export settings (for H.264 for YouTube and Vimeo) for footage shot in SD? Didn't know if they differ from what works with exporting HD footage. Thanks
Use the presets in Media Encoder for Youtube SD and Vimeo SD (export separately for both). They will take care of the darker gamma issues that appear otherwise; (there are HD conterparts as well).
